Director
Niguel Streete has extensive training and experience in financial sector supervision, development and policy formulation. Prior to joining the Commission, he held several regulatory positions with the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank including Adviser in the Governor’s Office, Director of the Bank Supervision Department and Secretary to the Eastern Caribbean Securities Regulatory Commission. He was responsible for monitoring and/or regulating, banking, credit union, insurance and securities business in eight jurisdictions in the Eastern Caribbean.
He also held managerial positions in the hospitality industry in Grenada and worked in commercial banking, accounting and auditing.
Mr Streete holds an MSc in International Economics, Banking and Finance (distinction) from the University of Wales, Cardiff Business School; and a BSc in Accounting (honours) from the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus.
